My name is Touya Rae Baptiste– I’m so happy you’re here.
It started with a single book, one that changed everything, pulled me into a world of words, and never let me go. Now, I can’t imagine life without stories; they’ve shaped me in ways I never expected.
Born in the Caribbean and raised in the South, I was drawn to books first out of necessity, then out of love, until reading became a core part of my identity.
But I know that’s not the case for everyone; sometimes the right story hasn’t found you yet and that’s why I created this space. A place where readers and the book-curious can come together, no pressure, just shared excitement for the magic of stories because reading is always better when you have people to scream about it with.
